CYPRES Facebook page reaches over 3000 members

facebook_logoAt the end of October 2009 CYPRES went live with the CYPRES facebook fan page in order to relay the goings on of CYPRES worldwide. As with many great idea's the CYPRES facebook page idea came about after a good days jumping where a good friend (Macca) convinced me of the value CYPRES, and of course its fans would have in this amazing venture.

As most will already know the CYPRES road-show has been actively roaming DZ's around the world for more than 5 years now providingMacca first hand information on the amazing CYPRES Automatic Activation Device and supporting Drop Zones during their events. Hitting some of the biggest skydiving events worldwide every year! Although all the fun and Awesomeness of the events where usually captured after the event with a little write up and a few pictures, Airtec felt that the CYPRES fans were missing out on the Atmosphere of the event as it was happening! The question back at CYPRES headquarters was “how do we inform the joe blog skydiver what they are missing out on”? The answer FACEBOOK, the biggest networking portal to date on the internet, with over 321.1 million users worldwide. We were sure we could hit the skydiver community with live “as it happens” info on all CYPRES visited events throughout the world. Not only is CYPRES there to give you the facts on why its the best AAD choice, we also wanted to pass on our experience of the event so that each and everyone of you could be there with us in spirit if not able to attend.

cypres-facebook-eOur latest (and first for 2010) CYPRES road tour sure did prove a point over in Dubai!
The Dubai International Championships and Gulf Cup 2010 was an event that was one that was not to be missed. After seeing the first pictures of jumps over the palm island I was eager to share these pictures with the skydiving world! CYPRES must have been pretty close to the first ones to publish these pictures on the internet to a mass audience for them to enjoy?! Daily CYPRES updates were provided by Regan Tetlow of the scoring and general feeling the event was pumping out. Further hints directly and in-time announced additional informations and pictures to be found on our website and galleries.

If you are not already a facebook user and you would like to be able to follow events and the latest new from CYPRES then join today, it's easy and fun to use for young and old just go to www.facebook.com and log your self in, use the facebook search bar type in CYPRES and join in the fun!

Who knows maybe we can get a few CYPRES Facebook fan page compititions going! You'll have to log on to find out!
