Optimal Transportation of your CYPRES
Are you afraid of potential trouble at the airport security gate?
No worries. You are safe with your CYPRES. The sanctioning international organizations have cleared the CYPRES for transportation either in your carry-on or your check-in luggage.
Should any doubts or questions remain, you can present your system's identification card to explain the pictures shown on the security scanner. This will help you through security.
Here you can conveniently download and print out your system's identification card for your next air travel. Please keep in mind that each container's image may look slightly different on the scanner.
You can also find the system's ID card on the last page of the manual.
You can find confirmation forms of official clearance by clicking here.
Our Recommendation:
Here you see two X-rays (a = view from above, b = side view) of a complete parachute, containing a CYPRES parachute emergency opening system. CYPRES is a Life Saving Device for Skydivers. Depending on the parachute container the x-ray on your screen may vary. All its components (e.g. measuring technique, electronics, battery, loop cutter, control unit, plugs, cables, casing) as well as the complete system contain parts and materials that are approved by U.S. DOT and other agencies world-wide, and are not subject to any transport regulations.

The red numbered objects show the CYPRES elements:
1. central unit, 2. cutter, 3. cuttercable, 4. control unit cable, 5. control unit.
