FAI General Conference in Asia

and Asiana Parachuting Federation AGM 2009


FAI is the world governing body for air sports and aeronautical subjects. Established in 1905. The FAI is now an organisation of some 100 member countries.

fai_asiania_korea_oct_09_29On the FAI's last general conference in Incheon, Korea, the IPC president Gramm Winsor especially highlighted safety aspects in the world of airsports.
He used CYPRES to outline what can be achieved if solutions are perfect.





fai_asiania_korea_oct_09_8During his speech he showed the CYPRES advertising with the drawing of Kerstin Wakob, 12 years from 2002 in conjunction with the FAI logo to the delegates.


in 1997 the FAI awarded their Gold Parachuting Medal to Helmut Cloth, the inventor of CYPRES.
In 1992 they awarded Bill Booth, the inventor of the 3 ring release system.
